The puppeteering and voice of Dr. Ticktock are the creation of Michael Earl.

Ticktock Minutes received a national Emmy Award in 1998 and has received numerous other accolades, including the 2002 Parents' Choice Award Silver Honor, ten regional Emmy awards, three Chris Awards from the Columbus International Film Festival, and the prestigious Gabriel Award from the National Catholic Association of Communicators, recognizing "outstanding artistic achievement in a television series that entertains and enriches with a true vision of humanity and true vision of life."

 Music is preparing to release Dr. Ticktock's CDs, tapes and DVDs nationally. Ticktock Minutes music videos can be seen each day around children's programming on Mississippi ETV. CD-ROMS of the patriotic Ticktock Minutes are available to all elementary schools in the state.
