 Technologies, Inc. announced today that its e-rater(TM) automated essay scoring technology will be used within PricewaterhouseCoopers' online learning portal that provides U.S. Army soldiers convenient and easy access to higher education higher education

Study beyond the level of secondary education. Institutions of higher education include not only colleges and universities but also professional schools in such fields as law, theology, medicine, business, music, and art.

The e-rater technology will provide online assessment of soldiers' writing skills for those soldiers seeking higher education via the Army University Access Online program called eArmyU. Soldiers demonstrate their writing proficiency pro·fi·cien·cy
