ESG brokers lease for Metromedia.

In a major Downtown Manhattan leasing transaction negotiated by the Edward S. Gordon Company, Inc. (ESG), Metromedia Communications Corp. has renewed its 18,500-square-foot lease at One Whitehall Street. Stephen B. Siegel, ESG's president, made the announcement.

The tenant, a national telecommunications firm, has been housed in the building, located between Stone and Bridge streets, for more than 10 years. The building is owned by Rudin Management.

ESG's Merrill L. Roth and Joel I. Wechsler negotiated the 15-year transaction on behalf of the tenant.
