The search intensified shortly after 8 a.m. when probation officers spotted the juvenile at the 7-Eleven at Urbandale Avenue and Bouquet Canyon Road. A squadron of patrol cars from both agencies responded, as well as a Sheriff's Department helicopter.

Porter said that the juvenile had no history of violence and was arrested without incident. Approximately 10 deputies and a dozen probation officials were involved in the capture.
