UGS Receives Double Accolades at Top 100 Business Applications 2007 Conference

BEIJING & PLANO, Texas -- UGS Corp., a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced that Chuck Yuan, vice president and managing director of Greater China Operations for UGS, was honored with 'Top 10 People in the News,' and UGS was awarded the PLM Vendor of the Year by ERPworld.net at the Top 100 Business Applications 2007 Conference.

Yuan joined UGS April 2005 to manage sales, after-sales support and customer services, and marketing for UGS in China and Hong Kong and expanded his responsibilities to include Taiwan in 2006. Customers of UGS also benefit from Yuan's leadership. CIO's of Beiqi Foton Motor and Xuji Group Corporation, Yang Guotao and Hao Zixian, present customers of UGS, received the Top 10 CIO award respectively in the conference.
