EROX to launch REALM in Canada, confirms expansion of duty-free operations.

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 20, 1996--EROX Corp. (NASDAQ-SC:EROX) announced today that its REALM(R) fragrances and toiletries, the only products that contain a human pheromone component, will make their Canadian introduction in early October.

Eaton's Department Stores, a retailer with more than 90 stores throughout the country, will initially launch REALM in its 31 largest stores.

Michael V. Stern, vice president of sales and marketing, indicated: "We are excited to be able to offer REALM to the Canadian consumer through this excellent retail partner. We hope to enjoy the same high level of success that we have seen with U.S. retailers replicated at Eaton's."

The product launch will be supported by a national radio promotion, a national public relations program incorporating television, radio and print media, and approximately 2 million catalogue inserts. All promotional efforts will continue to focus on the scientific differentiation of REALM products.

The company also announced that it has entered into an agreement to introduce REALM products in selected North American Duty-Free locations, including those along the Canadian border and selected major international airports. Initial shipments have been made to the northern border outlets.

EROX Corp. manufactures and markets prestige-priced fragrances and toiletry products under the REALM trademark. REALM products are the only ones that contain synthesized human pheromones as a component and have been shown to stimulate the human Vomeronasal Organ (the VNO).
