ERGODYNE ONE OF NINE MINNESOTA FIRMS ON INC. 500
LIST OF AMERICA'S FASTEST-GROWING PRIVATE COMPANIES
ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Ergodyne Corporation, a St. Paul-based developer of ergonomic products and programs, is one of the nine Minnesota companies ranked as the fastest-growing private companies in America by Inc. magazine. The list is part of the Inc. 500 appearing in the magazine's October issue (released today); Ergodyne ranks in the upper half at 243.
In less than nine years, Ergodyne has grown to become the nation's leading developer of products and programs designed to address ergonomic hazards at work and in the home. Sales in 1992 totaled $29 million, compared to $990,000 in 1987.
"Ergodyne has been a pioneer on the ergonomic frontier," said Tom Votel, president and CEO of Ergodyne. "We lead the industry with patented design that provides maximum performance and comfort in the toughest work and home environments. I'm confident we'll continue to grow as we address what OSHA has dubbed 'the occupational disease of the 90s' -- cumulative trauma disorders."
Ergodyne Corporation engineers and markets ergonomically designed products and training programs for office, health care and industrial workers, as well as for home and recreational use. For more information on Ergodyne or its products, call 1-800-225-8238.
