ERAWest Inc. Announces it Signed a Binding Letter of Intent to Acquire DigiCon Technologies Inc.

CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 1998--ERAWest Inc. (NASDQ BB:ERAW), an international provider of telecommunications and Internet services, announced Thursday the signing of a binding Letter of Intent to acquire privately owned DigiCon Technologies Inc. of Stroudsburg, Pa.

DigiCon Technologies is an international provider of computer telephony systems integration and services. The transaction involves a combination of cash and stock. The agreement also appoints DigiCon CEO L. Joshua Eikov as chief technology officer and director of ERAW. The final sales agreement is to be completed within 30 days.

DigiCon has operations in three countries, Australia, Ireland and the United States. Its signature product, DigiMail is a remote e-mail retrieval system that when full deployed will give the business traveler the ability to access essential business services such as email, fax, voicemail via telephone. The company also has a proprietary operating system for advanced telephony information systems that sets new standards for telecommunications with its unlimited scalability, uncompromised high performance, and a host of features designed to insure reliable operation, uninterrupted access, smooth administration and customized integration with other systems and services. The company also offers next-generation "class of service" features that directly support managed messaging/data services and telecommunications management services.
