EQUINE VET JACK FOUND DEAD AT 49 IN DAVIS OFFICE.Dr. Robert Jack, the California Horse Racing horse racing, trials of speed involving two or more horses. It includes races among harnessed horses with one of two particular gaits, among saddled Thoroughbreds (or, less frequently, quarterhorses) on a flat track, or among saddled horses over a turf course with Board's equine medical director, died Tuesday morning after being found unconscious in his office at UC Davis. He was 49. Paramedics were unable to revive Jack. He was pronounced dead at Davis Sutter Hospital.
