EQUANT IPO; Offer Price Fixed at US$27 per Share.


ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 1998--EQUANT, the operator of the world's largest data network and a leading provider of seamless international data network services to multinational businesses, today announced final details of its Global Offering.

-- The price for the shares in the Global Offering for EQUANT has

been set at US $27 per share

-- The Global Offering ultimately comprised 26.1 million new shares.

Additionally, the underwriters have been granted an overallotment

option of up to a further 3.9 million new shares

-- Following the closing of the Global Offering, Stichting "The SITA

Foundation" will own approximately 60.7% of the issued common

shares of EQUANT (59.6% if the underwriters' over-allotment

option is exercised in full). A group of institutional investors

led by Morgan Stanley To comply with Wikipedia's , the introduction of this article needs a complete rewrite.  Capital Partners will own approximately

26.0% of EQUANT's issued common shares (25.5% if the

underwriters' over-allotment option is exercised in full)
