EPpy Awards Names NYTimes.com Best Overall Newspaper Web Site for Third Consecutive Year; NYTimes.com and Boston.com are Also Six-Time Finalists in Five Categories.

NYTimes.com won the Best Overall Newspaper-affiliated Internet Service Award for sites with over one million monthly visitors and Martin Nisenholtz, senior vice president, digital operations, at The New York Times Company, was the Outstanding Individual Achievement Honoree. NYTimes.com also received the Best Overall Newspaper-affiliated Internet Service Award in 2004, 2003 and 1997, and is the only organization that has been recognized with the top honor four times.

NYTimes.com Multimedia was also a finalist for Best Use of Rich Media in an Internet Service. Boston.com was a finalist for Best Overall Newspaper-Affiliated Internet Service and Best Internet News Service. Boston.com Real Estate was a finalist for Best Internet Classified Service.

In its tenth year, the EPpy Awards honor the best Internet work by media companies, especially newspapers, television networks and affiliates, radio networks, syndicated shows, and local radio stations. Entries to the competition are reviewed and rated by a team of more than 50 distinguished judges from the media industry chosen by the management of Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek.
