EO market has future.

Forecast International has estimated that over $9.5 billion will be spent on the development and production of key land and sea-based electro-optical systems over the next ten years, with a rapid increase of system production in the next few years to meet the demands of currently deployed forces. Night vision technology continues to be a major force in this market, with R & D funding for just four of the current major development programmes totalling $ 674 million. The forecast mentions that the Raytheon-produced AN/PAS-13 continues to provide impressive sales figures. Recent sales to Canada, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates have also contributed to recent production demands.
