ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGIES CORP. MAKES HISTORY WITH ANSEL ADAMS COVER
RESTON, Va., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time since the renowned photographer's death in 1984, the trustees of The Ansel Adams Publishing Rights Trust have allowed one of Adams' photographs to be used on the cover of a corporate brochure.
In an unprecedented move, reproduction rights were granted to Environmental Strategies Corporation, a respected environmental services firm headquartered in Reston, Va. near Washington, D.C. Its principles formulated standard procedures, priorities and approaches now practiced throughout the environmental services industry. As noted authorities in their field, ESC professionals are widely published and often chair corporate environmental seminars in the U.S. and overseas.
A spokesperson for ESC said, "The company shares Mr. Adams' relentless pursuit of excellence, his deep respect for the environment, and applauds his foresight on environmental issues that have now become so urgent. His philosophies stand as ideals ESC champions in its daily activities as a global environmental consulting and services firm.
The company is honored to have Ansel Adams' "Moon and Half Dome, Yosemite Valley, 1960" on the cover of its brochure.
The privilege of using the brilliant photography of Ansel Adams, who devoted his life and extraordinary talent to the environment underscores the basic philosophy of ESC. It is the perfect introduction to the company's services and clearly illustrates the need for business to find ways to prosper in concert with nature."
ESC provides environmental risk management, merger and acquisition assessments, audit programs, consulting and remediation for a number of the world's largest corporations, including manufacturers of petroleum products, steel, semiconductors, as well as natural resource industries, law firms, insurance companies, financial institutions, developers and major universities.
The ESC brochure was created by Cato & Newby, Inc., a public relations firm in Bridgeport, Conn., specializing in environmental communications and printed by Sidney Rapoport, president of Rapoport/Metropolitan Printing in New York City.
In addition to its Reston headquarters, Environmental Strategies Corporation has offices in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, California and the United Kingdom. For more information, write Environmental Strategies Corporation, 11911 Freedom Drive, Reston, Va., 22090 or call 703-709-6500.
