ENVIRONFIL, INC. ANNOUNCES HIRING OF SEVERAL NEW EXECUTIVE OFFICERS

 RADNOR, Pa., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Envirofil, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFIL) announced today the recent hiring of several new executive officers.
 The company stated that its management team now includes Hubert J. Bourque, Kevin R. Chernoff and Sam W. Humphreys, each of whom brings to the company significant experience in the waste management industry.
 Bourque, 44, now serves as the company's chief compliance officer and senior vice president of environmental affairs. Prior to joining the company, Bourque served for 2-1/2 years as divisional vice president, environmental affairs, for Browning-Ferris Industries Ltd, where he was responsible for the environmental compliance of the landfills, medical waste operations and waste collection operations of BFI's Canadian subsidiary, the direction of its landfill operations and market development efforts for new landfills and existing landfill expansions in Canada.
 Chernoff, 34, now serves as the company's vice president and chief accounting officer. Before joining the company, Chernoff held the position of chief accounting officer for three years with Browning- Ferris Industries Ltd. Before holding that position, Chernoff served as director of internal audit for Browning-Ferris Industries. Prior to joining BFI, Chernoff was employed for eight years by Arthur Andersen & Company, in its Vancouver, British Columbia, office.
 Humphreys, 33, is a corporate finance and merger and acquisition lawyer with significant experience in the environmental services industry. He will serve as senior vice president and general counsel of the company. Prior to joining the company, he was a partner with Andrews & Kurth L.L.P., where he was employed for more than the past five years. His practice at Andrews & Kurth involved the representation of numerous publicly held and privately held environmental service companies, as well as many of the investment banking, merchant banking and venture capital firms focusing on the waste management and environmental services industries. From 1989 to 1990, Humphreys also served as the chairman of the Securities and Investment Banking Committee of the State Bar of Texas.
 David Sutherland-Yoest, the company's chief executive officer, stated that Bourque, Chernoff and Humphreys "bring significant strengths to the company. Their hirings are consistent with our goal of building one of the best management teams in the sold waste industry, which we believe is critical to maximizing shareholder value."
 The company is engaged in the acquisition, operation and development of non-hazardous solid waste landfills and related collection and recycling operations. The company provides its services to municipal, commercial, industrial and residential customers.
