Pawlcyn, the owner of two restaurants in California's Napa Valley, had been scheduled to supervise students in preparing and serving dishes from Pawlcyn's Mustards Grill cookbook at the LCC Foundation's fund-raiser dinner on Friday. A native of Mexico who came to the United States when he was 17, Jacinto started as a dishwasher at Mustards Grill. Pawlcyn released a statement, calling Jacinto a perfectionist per·fec·tion·ism n. 1.
