Earlier this year, MSN (1) (MicroSoft Network) A family of Internet-based services from Microsoft, which includes a search engine, e-mail (Hotmail), instant messaging (Windows Live Messaging) and a general-purpose portal with news, information and shopping (MSN Directory). revamped its service with a series of television-like programming. With 14 shows on the service's six different channels, viewers can catch ``Nelson's World''; ``Almost TV,'' an improvisational comedy show that plays off of pop culture; and ``Project: Wildfire,'' which talks about unexplained, ``X-Files''-worthy phenomena.
