 sponge products. The Ultracell[R] Classic[TM] Nasal, standard nasal packs, and Nasal Packs with Airway are used after septal septal /sep·tal/ (sep´tal) pertaining to a septum.

 and rhino-plastic surgery, as well as other intranasal procedures. Ultracell provides gentle, equal pressure within the nasal cavity while absorbing postoperative fluids. Comfort is enhanced with the addition of an optional airway tube. Ultracell also offers Epistaxis Packs, Sinus Packs, Earwicks, and Ear Packs. In addition, Ultracell has developed the Pedipack[TM] line of nasal, sinus, and ear packs for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

UltraPlus 5000[TM] is the first self-contained sponge Nasal Pack. The soft covered surface provides a nonstick interface against tissue. Once inserted and hydrated, the pack will remain moist for up to seven days without rehydration rehydration /re·hy·dra·tion/ (-hi-dra´shun) the restoration of water or fluid content to a patient or to a substance that has become dehydrated.
