 ENSERCH TO REDEEM 10-7/8 PERCENT DEBENTURES DUE 2005
 DALLAS, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- ENSERCH Corporation (NYSE: ENS)


announced today that it will redeem on June 15, 1992, the outstanding $9,375,000 of its 10-7/8 percent sinking fund debentures due 2005, pursuant to the mandatory and optional sinking fund provisions of the indenture, at 100 percent of par plus accrued interest. Interest will cease to accrue on June 15, 1992.
