Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) won the prestigious Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (DAST), launched by Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

Zaid Alqufaidi, CEO of ENOC Retail Business Stream received the award from H.H Sheikh Hamdan at a ceremony held recently.

The first-of-its-kind award aims at increasing awareness and motivating individuals as well as organisations to play a constructive role in supporting the RTA to develop sustainable transport systems and solutions.

The award has three categories: Managing & Streamlining Mobility Processes, Conservation of Environment and Safety. ENOC Retail won the award in the Conversation of Environment category for its leadership in adopting the latest technologies across various operational areas, with due consideration to their impact on the environment and society.

Alqufaidi commented: "We are delighted to have won this prestigious award as it represents a validation of our conservation practices by the Dubai government. ENOC holds a significant stake in the UAE (Uninterruptible Application Error) The name given to a crash in Windows 3.0.
