ENGENUITY TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES JLOOXTELECOM 2.0.

eNGENUITY Technologies Inc., (TSE:EGY), a supplier of collaborative tools for the smart engineering over the Web of high reliability systems, has announced the release of JLOOXTelecom 2.0.

JLOOXTelecom provides a ready-to-use development framework for creating distributed Java-based network/element management systems and network planning applications. The product allows users to automatically create dynamic views of network topology and equipment models. Model classes are extensible and can support physical, logical and service level management applications. All classes support fault monitoring in a real-time environment. JLOOXTelecom also allows for automatic client/server synchronization in compliance with major telecom standards and recommendations. JLOOXTelecom can be applied to enterprise, voice & data network, and data center management.

With JLOOXTelecom 2.0, users can now fully customize distributed objects and business rules to suit their specific applications, and create truly unique-looking management systems.

JLOOXTelecom 2.0 improvements focus on easier integration of the product within a wide breadth of network management architectures, and improving the performance of its current feature set. Among the important new features is support of several new protocols for client/server communication, such as RMI/IIOP and XML/HTTP, allowing JLOOXTelecom components to be more easily distributed across firewalls. JLOOXTelecom 2.0 also uses Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) to facilitate user authentication and control access to specialized server and client-side business logic.
