 Catholic Church, unable to tell authorities who she was, has been identified as a woman with a history of mental problems, officials said Thursday.

Armstrong turned up Dec. 6 on the steps of the Foothill Boulevard church in La Canada Flintridge. She has been at Glendale Adventist Medical Center Glendale Adventist Medical Center is located in the Los Angeles suburb of Glendale, California. It was founded in 1905. Glendale Adventist Medical Center is a sister institution of Loma Linda University Medical Center and is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist hospital system.  since she was found.

Family members were contacted. Gonzales said Armstrong will probably be transferred to a county facility.
