EMPAK Completes New Malaysian Facility.


COLORADO SPRINGS Colorado Springs, city (1990 pop. 281,140), seat of El Paso co., central Colo., on Monument and Fountain creeks, at the foot of Pikes Peak; inc. 1886. It is a year-round resort and a booming military, technological, and commercial city. , Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1997--EMPAK, a provider of memory disk process and shipping products, has completed a new molding plant in Malaysia.

The 103,000-square-foot facility is the first class-rated cleanroom molding site established in Asia to serve the booming microelectronics industry in that region.
