 All Ages concert series with a New Years Eve bash to ring in 2001.

EMP will host an all-ages electronic show with pulsating beats and world-class artists. The Crystal Method (DJ Set) will send rhythms through Sky Church, while local DJs Brian Beck and Chloe will spin deep house, trance trance (trans) a sleeplike state of altered consciousness marked by heightened focal awareness and reduced peripheral awareness.

"Electronic music is one of the fastest growing and cutting edge genres of music today," said Bob Santelli, EMP deputy director of public programming. "What a great way to celebrate the New Year -- dancing to live music in Sky Church while watching the Seattle Center Seattle Center is a fairground, park and arts and entertainment center in Seattle, Washington. The 74-acre campus is the site used in 1962 by the Century 21 Exposition. It is located just north of Belltown in Lower Queen Anne.

EMP All Ages will include monthly shows devoted to an all ages' audience. "All-ages concerts" are most often performances that allow those under 21 to see their favorite bands in a club setting. At EMP, the term is two-fold -- referring to the audience as well as to the young, emerging artists for whom this series is an opportunity to perform live under the tutelage TUTELAGE. Tickets are available at EMP Main Lobby and the EMP Store. Ticket price includes Artist Journey admission and Seattle Center fireworks display on the indoor video screen in Sky Church.

Chloe is a producer and DJ with a weekly show on groovetech.com which airs every Monday from 12 p.m. -- 2 p.m. She will be spinning Trance and Breakbeat at the EMP New Years concert. Chloe produced her last project in March 2000 titled Serein and is presently working on a double disc project, Sticky, coming out on the record label Furthur in 2001.
