This strategic divestiture focuses ADAM Technologies Inc. on the management and development of early stage technology opportunities including ADAM's previously announced 25% interest in Concept 1 Communications Inc. (Concept 1). Concept 1 is a leading developer of software authoring tools for multimedia and the Internet. ADAM Peripherals Inc. based in Markham, Ontario manufactures, distributes and services hardware technology for the digital publishing market, which includes electronic prepress, desktop publishing, digital imaging and document management, digital photography, digital video, multimedia and Internet solutions over local and wide area networks.
