EMCOR selected as 2005 American Business winner.

EMCOR Group, Inc., a Fortune 500[R] leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses globally, announced today that it is the recipient of a 2005 American Business Award. The EMCOR Group Marketing Department was selected as the "Best Marketing Organization".

Referred to as "The business world's own Oscar Awards" by The New York Post, The American Business Awards, also known as the "Stevie Awards", were created to honor and generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide. Beginning with The American Business Awards in 2002, The International Business Awards in 2003, and The Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs in 2004, the mission of the awards is to raise the profile of exemplary companies and individuals in the media, the business community, and the general public.

The 2005 Stevie Award winners were announced at a gala dinner in New York on Monday, June 6, where Donald J. Trump received the first Lifetime Achievement Stevie Award. More than 100 Stevies were presented in over 40 categories. More than 1,200 nominations from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.
