EMC enhances Symmetrix 8000 systems.


Delivering on its promise made at this month's Symmetrix DMX See DMX512.  launch, EMC Corporation EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) is an American Fortune 500 and S&P 500 manufacturer of software and systems for information management and storage. It is headquartered in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, USA.  has rolled out major enhancements to its popular and widely installed Symmetrix 8000 series of information storage systems. Native Gigabit Ethernet and 146 gigabyte drives are available for all new and existing Symmetrix 8000 systems. Symmetrix 8000 systems were announced to market in April 2000.
