EMC Receives IT-Supplier Award From DaimlerChrysler; EMC's Global Services and Management Software Recognized for Reducing Infrastructure Costs.

DaimlerChrysler has awarded EMC Corporation for its superior services organization and industry-driving product innovations. The world's third-largest auto manufacturer utilizes EMC information storage systems and software to provide information storage and management across its entire worldwide operations.

The award was presented at DaimlerChrysler's first-ever IT Supplier Day, a gathering of over 40 key IT vendors organized by the company's Information Technology Management (ITM) and Purchasing departments. EMC was one of only two IT vendors awarded at the event.
