EMC REPORTS RECORD REVENUE AND PROFITS; Customer Acceptance Continues to Grow Book-to-Bill Ratio Greater than One.


HOPKINTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 17, 1995--EMC today reported revenues for the second quarter of 1995 were $435,267,000, an increase of 41% over the $308,116,000 revenues for the same period in 1994. Net income for the quarter was $79,801,000, an increase of 46% over the $54,569,000 for the second quarter of 1994. Earnings per share, fully diluted were $0.35 compared to $0.24 for the same period last year.

For the first half of 1995, revenues increased almost 50% or $855,865,000 versus $575,174,000 a year ago. Net income for the first half is up 52% to $157,782,000 versus last year's $103,409,000 and fully diluted earnings per share diluted earnings per share
