(NASDAQ:QLGC), the market share leader in Fibre Channel host bus adapters, announced today that EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC) has qualified the QLogic QLA2200 Fibre Channel host bus adapter for use with EMC's Symmetrix and Connectrix Enterprise Storage Network systems in Windows NT and Sun Solaris environments. The QLA2200 series, which offers full fabric support, joins the QLA2100 product family as the latest QLogic connectivity solution to meet EMC's rigorous interoperability testing, marking a long history of cooperation between the two companies to serve the growing Storage Area Network (SAN) market.
