EMC Names Bill Teuber Vice Chairman; Eleven-year EMC Veteran to continue in CFO Role; Executive Vice Presidents Elias and Hauck Also Assume New Responsibilities.

HOPKINTON, Mass. -- EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC), the world leader in information management and storage, today announced that Bill Teuber, the company's longtime Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed to the newly created executive position of Vice Chairman. Teuber will continue to serve as CFO of EMC, a role he has held since 1997, and will continue to report to Joe Tucci, EMC Chairman, President and CEO. Over the same time frame EMC has effectively leveraged its strong financial position to acquire more than $6 billion in software, systems and services companies, and now invests more than $1 billion annually in research & development.
