EMC Launches World's Largest-Capacity Disk Storage System, Able to Hold 100 Million U.S. Income Tax Forms.

Six Terabytes (Six Trillion Bytes) in 17.3 Square Feet

The new system is the highest capacity disk storage system in the world and the first to implement the new 47-gigabyte drives. Six terabytes is the equivalent of the amount of information in 120,000 four-drawer filing cabinets; 102,000 CD-ROMS; and 3 million standard diskettes.
