EMC Introduces New Velocity Channel Partner Program; New Multi-Tiered Channel Partner Program and Online Ordering System Reflect Continued Commitment to Channel Community.

EMC Corporation today unveiled a new multi-tiered channel partner program that increases its ability to attract and support partners. EMC's new Velocity Partner Program combines certification, training, sales, marketing and technical support with financial incentives to make it easier for resellers and integrators to offer EMC Automated Networked Storage solutions to end user customers.

Partners will be classified as an EMC Velocity Reseller, EMC Velocity Partner or EMC Premier Velocity Partner based on their qualifications, such as number of EMC-certified personnel and revenue performance. The Velocity Partner Program will also offer additional incentives as EMC works with channel partners to address new and underserved market segments with EMC's market-leading portfolio of products and services.

This new tool, developed in conjunction with partners, will help ensure that end user customers are getting the right solution for their needs, in the most efficient manner and at the most competitive price.
