Prior to joining EMC, Ellard was Vice President and CIO at Boston Scientific Corporation, where he was responsible for integrating the IT operations of 15 acquired companies into Boston Scientific's overall IT architecture - creating a single interface for customers and improved communication processes across the organization. Ellard also led the company's successful enterprise resource planning See ERP.
