The Emblem Woman of the Year Award was presented to Roseann Dalton for her many hours of service and for her duties as publication editor of the club's newsletter, Chatter Time. Club member Stacy McKenna presented honorable mention awards to Jim Tubbs for collecting, sorting and mailing more than 243,000 discount coupons to members of the armed forces stationed overseas, and to Phyllis Knight for her many activities and her organization of the club's weekly bingo games. Vice President Diane Tubbs introduced the honored guests including Annitta Macheda, past supreme president and past president of the Barstow Emblem Club No. 311; Robert Medellin, state vice president of the metropolitan district and past exalted ruler of San Fernando San Fernando, city, Argentina San Fernando (săn fərnăn`dō), city (1991 pop. 144,761), Buenos Aires prov., E Argentina.
