The Wireless Logic Controller is an all-in-one intelligent device for Information & Control. It simplifies the integration and development of automation systems and extends wide-area enterprise control with leading-edge technology and end-to-end solutions for energy efficiency, asset performance, and process control.

The WLC combines user programmability using WizPLC[TM] CoDeSys([R]), a cellular data modem, security protocols and data encryption, a variety of on-board connectivity and optional I/O extensions, data logging, backup battery system, all in an extendable modular design.

The WLC differs from other PLCs and RTUs with a clearly superior set of innovative, ground-breaking features. It offers wireless backhaul of information to the enterprise system (on GSM/GPRS, CDMA or iDEN), an integrated Web server for remote access and configuration, and an embedded softlogic engine with CoDeSys software for local control using the six normalized IEC 61131-3 languages. The WLC not only offers local programming with laptop and USB connection, but also features a unique over-the-air function for remote configuration and simulation.

The WLC is an enabling component of the company's integrated solution offerings, with embedded features for energy control with AEM([R]), for management of fixed and mobile equipment with ALERT([R]), and for facility management with Wizcon([R]) Wireless[TM].

Wizcon Wireless: WLC and Wizcon Supervisor bundle

The WLC shares the same Development Studio with Wizcon, which not only greatly simplifies the development of process control applications, but also allows full integration of the complete local control and remote web-enabled supervision, with a complete end-to-end solution from one single supplier. This greatly reduces the risk of programming errors and drastically cuts development time.

The WLC extends Wizcon's supervisory capabilities with wireless communication, and a PLC that is programmable, remotely, using WizPLC CoDeSys, one of the many tools in the Wizcon Supervisor software suite.
