ELTRAX CREATES, FILLS TWO KEY MANAGEMENT POSITIONS

ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Eltrax Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ELTX), announced this week the filling of two new officer positions, completing its extensive effort to build a key management team to increase sales and initiate a strong emphasis in product development, according to Patrick Oven, president and CEO. "For the past six months, Eltrax has conducted a diligent search for key management personnel to focus on our two product lines and R&D. We're pleased to announce our team is complete," said Oven.
Kent A. Anderson joined Eltrax as vice president of Imaging Systems. Anderson brings to Eltrax 13 years of diversified management experience in operations, sales and marketing in the computer hardware and software industry. He was most recently director of operations at ARTIST Graphics, Inc., St. Paul.
Bill W. Haeuser left his position as director, Product Development at Datacard Corp., to fill the new chief technical officer position at Eltrax. Haeuser has 17 years of software technology and management experience in the development of products, processes and production capabilities for emerging product markets.
Eltrax develops and nationally markets two information management systems used in medical facilities. The Eltrax Patient Card System expedites patient admission and registration at hospitals, clinics and other health care facilities. The Eltrax Optical Disk Image Archiving System enables the storing and retrieval of X-rays, MRI, CT, ultrasound and nuclear medicine films, documents and associated reports on high capacity optical disks. Both systems are viewed as excellent methods to reduce hospital administration costs and increase patient care; two criteria included in President Clinton's health care reform plan. Eltrax went public in December 1992, and its shares are traded on the NASDAQ Small Cap Market under the symbol ELTX.
