ELKS GIVE KIDS A SHOT AT FREE-THROW GLORY.Byline: Daily News LANCASTER - Children can test their basketball skills at the Elks National Free Throw Hoop Shoot to be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 11 at New Vista Middle School, 753 E. Ave. K-2. Competition will be held in three categories: ages 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. Each contest will consist of 25 free throws - 10 in round one and 15 in round two with ties resolved in five-shot shoot-offs. Local winners will advance to the Inland District competition to be held Jan. 8 at New Vista Middle School.
