ELEPHANT & CASTLE PLANS NEW RESTAURANT ON VANCOUVER'S BOOMING "EAST ROBSON".VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 1994--The Elephant & Castle Group announced today that it has entered into an agreement with an international developer to build a spectacular new restaurant at the $40 million dollar 275-room Rosedale-on-Robson Suite Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia British Columbia, province (2001 pop. 3,907,738), 366,255 sq mi (948,600 sq km), including 6,976 sq mi (18,068 sq km) of water surface, W Canada. This is the first hotel venture in Canada by the Chevalier Group of Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov. , a company with 47 business subsidiaries around the world. Due to open next March '95, it is located on the southeast corner of Robson and Hamilton Streets in the heart of Vancouver's emerging East Robson "Culture Zone".
