ELAST Technologies, Inc., (OTC-BB: ESTG) www.elast.com announced the establishment of new division headed by Terry A. Rondberg, DC, to market its chiropractic outcome-measuring instrument. Additionally, Dr. Rondberg has accepted an appointment to the Company's Board of Directors.

Dr. Rondberg graduated Logan College of Chiropractic in 1974, and, since that time and, in addition to his private practice of chiropractic, has worked tirelessly as a chiropractic advocate and educator. In 1986 Dr. Rondberg founded The Chiropractic Journal and, in 1989, he founded the World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA). The WCA is a non-profit watchdog and advocacy organization, which represents the interests of more than 60,000 chiropractors worldwide (approximately 50,000 in the US). Dr. Rondberg has authored numerous articles on chiropractic for the profession and the public, as well as several best-selling books, including Chiropractic First, Under the Influence of Modern Medicine, and has co-authored, with Timothy J. Feuling, the CBS Malpractice Prevention Program, and Chiropractic: Compassion and Expectation. In addition to The Chiropractic Journal, Dr. Rondberg publishes the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research, a scientific peer-reviewed journal, and the weekly online newsletter Health Watch. Dr. Rondberg is also a frequent lecturer and serves as the President of the WCA.

ELAST Technologies' new chiropractic division will be dedicated to marketing an objective outcome-measuring instrument to the chiropractic profession, and, contrary to last week's announcement, Dr. Rondberg will be working with ELAST Technologies in his individual capacity only; the World Chiropractic Alliance will not be involved.

In working towards the perfection of ELAST's allergy testing device ELAST's engineers discovered the chiropractic assessment application. The ELAST Device(TM) is a patented, non-invasive diagnostic tool that is being designed to accurately diagnose allergies, as well as food and chemical sensitivities, immediately without any of the pain or expense associated with currently employed allergy testing methods. The Device's technology is based upon the clinical observation that the normal flow of electricity in the human body is altered when its immune system is exposed to a substance to which it is sensitive or allergic and the Device's diagnostic capabilities are based upon the measurement of the body's electrical responses. It is this technology, when applied to measuring chiropractic outcome, which should prove quite valuable to the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Rondberg explained, "such an objective outcome assessment will provide doctors of chiropractic with the means to measure the damage of vertebral subluxations - small misalignments of the vertebrae which interfere with the normal nerve flow - and the normalizing effect of chiropractic adjustments." In its present stage of development the ELAST Device(TM) is capable of providing such an assessment, and Dr. Rondberg is confident that with appropriate input from a chiropractic perspective the Device can be tailored into an objective outcome-measuring instrument for use by the chiropractic profession.

Thomas F. Krucker, ELAST President and CEO, predicts that the chiropractic market can provide a strong revenue stream for the Company and projects that through the employment of a leasing program, total revenues for the first year, based on 500 units leased, will approximate $4.5 million.
