EL SAN JUAN HOTEL & CASINO TURNS KITCHEN INTO CLASSROOM: FAMED RESORT HOSTS "FOOD & WINE" MAGAZINE'S 'CARIBBEAN CULINARY WEEKEND' MAY 14-16

 SAN JUAN, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Gourmet chef wannabes can learn to cook with style, surrounded by style from May 14-16, 1993 when the elegant El San Juan Hotel & Casino hosts Food & Wine Magazine's "Caribbean Culinary Weekend" cooking school.
 This intensive program features a Master Class with renowned chef Jacques Pepin on the specific techniques for achieving culinary excellence; a class with John Carey, El San Juan's executive chef, on the island's savory cuisine; a rums mixology session; a wine tasting seminar with Steven Olson, Wine Director at the renowned Mayflower Inn; and a tabletop design workshop with Food & Wine entertaining editor, Peter Prescott.
