EKCO HOUSEWARES NAMES DENNIS WITTEKIND PRESIDENT.

NASHUA, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 1995 -- Ekco Group, Inc. (NYSE: EKO) today announced that Dennis Wittekind, 49, has succeeded Richard Corbin as president of Ekco Housewares, the company's largest operating division. Mr. Wittekind, who joined Ekco Group in August 1994, most recently served as senior vice president of marketing and sales for the company's bakeware and kitchenware businesses. He reports to Robert Stein, Ekco Group president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Corbin, Ekco Group's executive vice president of marketing and sales, and former president of Ekco Housewares, plans to leave the company in August to pursue other interests.
