To determine beforehand; preordain: a foolish scheme destined to fail; a film destined to become a classic. 2. for use in the U.S. Marine Corps' Third Echelon Test Set (TETS TETS Third Echelon Test Set (USMC) TETS Transcutaneous Energy Transfer System TETS Turbine Engine Technology Symposium ), a mobile electronic test suite to be manufactured by ManTech.
