EIGHT ROYAL OAK AREA POST OFFICES TO OFFER FULL WINDOW SERVICE ON MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. HOLIDAY

 BIRMINGHAM, Mich., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Royal Oak District of the United States Postal Service announced today that eight Royal Oak- area post offices will offer full window service operations on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. "Monday, Jan. 17, is a federal holiday and there will be no regular mail delivery. However, we recognize the fact that to many of our customers it's a regular working day, so we're keeping key post offices open. This is being done as part of an ongoing effort to enhance customer service throughout the area," says Thomas Newman, Royal Oak district manager of customer service and sales.
 PARTICIPATING OFFICES HOURS
 Royal Oak 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 Rochester 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 Warren 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 Troy 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 St. Clair Shores 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
 Port Huron 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
 Farmington Hills 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
 Mt. Clemens 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 "This will be the first time that eight offices in the Royal Oak area will be open on the holiday to serve its customers," Newman added.
 In addition to these full service offices, all mail dropped off in street collection boxes throughout the area will be collected for processing and distribution.
