EGIL Reveals Strategy For Groundbreaking Utilization Of "The Edge" As Leading Independent Film Distribution Channel.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -- Edgetech International, Inc. (OTC:EGIL) is announcing plans to launch the specialized distribution of independent film content through The Edge, the world's first ultra-mobile handheld computer with a built-in modem operating at DSL type-speed. The ability of The Edge to reshape wireless Internet can be compared to the impact felt by the entertainment industry from independent films, especially over the last few years, where A-rated actors and celebrities are appearing in front of and behind the cameras in greater numbers than ever before.

The showing of "Indie Film" collections or offerings have not only experienced a tremendous jump in popularity, but have also become trendy, press-worthy events. EGIL's first major push of The Edge into the consumer market will coincide with the Company's planned participation in the Sundance Film Festival, to be held January 18th through the 28th, 2007 in Park City, Utah. This annual event is held in Park City each January and is considered the premier U.S. showcase for American and international independent films. The Sundance Institute, founded in 1981 by Robert Redford, is a nonprofit organization dedicated year-round to the development of artists of independent vision and to the exhibition of their new work.

"Leveraging a content distribution channel utilizing our high-speed wireless technology will allow The Edge to evolve as an internationally recognized resource for thousands of independent artists, filmmakers, screenwriters, and composers," commented Edgetech CEO, Lev Parnas. "We're just beginning to see the full range of capabilities that apply to The Edge as a powerful media tool, and our vision for independent film distribution is better positioned with breakthrough applications that are the blueprints for the future."
