EFFORTS GEARING UP TO SHOWCASE RATTLERS' SOCCER.Byline: GIDEON RUBIN Staff Writer LANCASTER -- Efforts to build the Lancaster Rattlers' visibility in advance of their inaugural season have produced a deal with a high-profile business partner. The newly formed Premier Development League soccer team will announce a cross-promotion partnership later this month with Chivas USA, Rattlers general manager Gerald Brunner said. Under terms of the agreement, the Rattlers will play host this year to Chivas for at least one and possibly two exhibition games at Palmdale High. The Rattlers agreed to terms with the Antelope Valley Union High School District The Antelope Valley Union High School District (A.V.U.H.S.D.) is located in the Antelope Valley area of California, in northern Los Angeles County. The district includes eight public high schools, one trade school, and two continuation high schools in the cities of Palmdale on a one-year lease agreement at the cost of $1,250 per game. The Rattlers are also responsible for reimbursing the school district for any field repairs under terms of the deal.
