EENT's AXP 1000 is the Long Haul Trucker's Idle Reduction Solution Which Saves Money, Lives and the Environment.

PLANO, Texas -- Energy & Engine Technology Corporation (OTCBB:EENT), a leading developer of auxiliary power generators for the long haul trucking industry, announced today that it believes its AXP 1000 device is the solution which provides the best potential to save money, lives and the environment. Diesel is topping a whopping $2.75 a gallon, and accident disasters caused by trucks are becoming more visible in an alarming manner. Adding the facts that more than 11 million tons of CO2 and 150 thousand tons of NOX are emitted and over 1.2 billion gallons of diesel fuel are wasted by the 15.3 million long haul trucks in the U.S. every year, the need for a solution to replace idling and allow the truck driver to rest in comfort is at the top of every trucker's list. The AXP 1000 is the centerpiece of EENT's exhibit at the Dallas Great American Truck Show (www.gatsonline.com) from August 25 - 27, 2005 (located in Booth 16025). The AXP 1000 is a 5kw device designed for new installation or retrofit to semi truck tractors. It provides both heating and cooling for long haul trucks, along with power for other truck cab creature comforts (i.e.: microwave, computer and George Foreman Grill) while maintaining truck battery charge. The AXP 1000 is the best of the auxiliary power units available on the market in terms of weight (under 350 lbs.), cost ($7,395 retail, installed), ease of maintenance (no belts, pulleys, hoses, alternators or radiators and minor filter maintenance), short time of installation (only unit which can be installed within the federally mandated 10 hour driver rest period) and flexibility of installation location (unique ability to be installed between the rails, in addition to the traditional side rail mount). The AXP 1000 is coupled with EENT's proprietary split unit HVAC system, the Over the Road Comfort System (12,000 BTU and 430 CFM air circulation), which maintains the condenser/compressor outside the truck cab with the inside, small evaporator unit available for floor, wall or under the bunk mount, providing the most versatility in the market.

EENT's flagship installation facility, capable of installing approximately 80 AXP 1000 units per month, is located in Dallas, and new facilities are being brought on line across North America (initial locations include Salt Lake City and Baltimore). The AXP 1000 is manufactured at EENT's Pompano Beach, Fla. production facility, and the Over the Road Comfort System is manufactured at its Anchor Manufacturing, Tampa, Fla. facility.

Production is proceeding on a consistent and steadily increasing basis at the current rate of 12 units per week which should increase to 25 units per week within the next 60 days. With production on the rise, the Company is making full use of its Pompano Beach and Tampa facilities. As EENT is now through its recently completed 60 unit production run, it has commenced gearing up for the next 300 unit production run, which should yield sufficient product to meet demand through the third quarter.

EENT is exploring the use of its patent for the linking of a tracking device to its AXP 1000 to be able to monitor reduced emissions through use of the AXP 1000 rather than idling the main truck engine. EENT has an exclusive strategic alliance with Track Star (see www.trackstar.com) of New Hartford, N.Y. for use of its various tracking systems for that purpose and is the only unit with that ability. EENT will be working to set up the first ever mobile emissions tax credit (MERC) program in Pennsylvania, and both groups look forward to the potential of utilizing the AXP - Track Star combination as a way to provide a significant boost in the effort to develop MERCs for the AXP 1000 (see www.eent/news/20050727-PR.htm). A MERC program for the AXP 1000 is another way for entities and individuals to profit from use of the EENT technology. Several states, including Texas, have set up or have the administrative ability to set up trading programs for emissions reduction credits. Also, a review of the websites of several known regional investment banks shows that they have departments which act as brokers and/or advisors for MERC and/or other emissions trading programs.
