EDS selects Suma Soft's keyvision and keysource to process customer order entry forms.

Suma Soft Private Limited, provider of business process outsourcing solutions in India and the United States, announced recently that EDS has selected a combination of KeyVision and KeySource, Suma Soft's data entry and quality control software, to process order forms for several of its clients.

EDS provides a full portfolio of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions including product fulfillment and distribution services to its clients. Driven by increased pressure in the industry to reduce costs and process data faster, EDS has developed new technologies to eliminate many of the manual tasks required to process consumer mail orders. As part of this endeavor, EDS has selected software and services from Suma Soft, which leverages imaging technology and cost competitive offshore labor resources, as part of its overall order-processing solution.

Suma Soft's "key from image" entry / quality control application, KeyVision, is based on a user-friendly technology with built-in quality control processes such as real time data verification. The software also randomly selects and reviews orders for quality, and is flexible enough to adapt to and read customized order forms.

KeySource, the software that Suma Soft uses for data entry for its outsourcing clients, transmits encrypted document images to offshore processing facilities, and then transmits processed data back to client facilities securely via the Internet. The processed data can then be exported to any backend database or mainframe system for fulfillment. This streamlined process can significantly reduce processing times, reduce data entry costs by up to 50 percent, increase the accuracy of the data collected, and improve customer service for clients.
