EDS And FranklinCovey Strike Long-Term Agreement.


EDS (Electronic Data Systems, Plano, TX, www.eds.com) Founded in 1962 by H. Ross Perot (independent candidate for the President of the U.S. in 1992), EDS is the largest outsourcing and data processing services organization in the country.  Corp. and FranklinCovey FranklinCovey (NYSE: FC), based in West Valley City, Utah, is a provider of time management training and assessment services for organizations and individuals. The company was formed on May 30, 1997, as a result of an acquisition by Franklin Quest of Stephen R.  Company concluded a broad information technology pact under which EDS was awarded a 15-year, $469 million contract for CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization.  and IT services. EDS awarded FranklinCovey a $25 million contract for learning and performance solutions and tools to increase service excellence within EDS. EDS will provide customer interaction center, warehousing and distribution services to support FranklinCovey's CRM program, and approximately 400 FranklinCovey warehousing and customer care call center employees will transfer to EDS.
