This award is in addition to the 1,100 units ordered in April. The total value of this new fixed-price award is $210 million. This award is for EDO's model known as the CVRJ CVRJ CREW Vehicle Receiver/Jammer (US DoD) (CREW Vehicle Receiver/Jammer) system. CREW is an acronym for an electronic warfare system that counters radio-controlled improvised explosive devices. In making this award, the Naval Sea Systems Command The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the largest of the U.S. Navy's five "systems commands," or materiel organizations.
