Aiming low

Officials are backing off of ambitious plans to put the LAUSD LAUSD Los Angeles Unified School District (Los Angeles, CA)  in the top 10 percent of urban school districts in the nation. And that's precisely the can't-do attitude that's weighed down the LAUSD for decades.

Probation probation, method by which the punishment of a convicted offender is conditionally suspended.
